Nobody

I got a call late Saturday night from Yaya Helen asking me to open my laptop and search a video of a group of female celebrities from ASAP doing their own production number of the latest Korean pop hit, Nobody by the Wonder Girls.

I was so tired to open my laptop and ignored it totally until the other day; she called again and mentioned the video. I was already searching the said video but I chanced upon another version of the single.

This one is better, I forwarded the link to my sister, and she too was laughing so hard with the choreography and the editing of the video.

“Nobody, nobody but you!” The song has been stuck in my head!

A Sweet Farewell

Just like he promised, he returned to where he started. For the last time and before its final call in television, George Clooney made a final appearance in ER as Dr. Doug Ross.

Watching the show with most of the original cast members was like a mini reunion. The tandem of George’s Dr. Ross and Julianna Margulies’ Nurse Carol Hathaway and the friendship between Noah Wyle’s John Carter and Eriq La Salle’s Dr. Peter Benton. It gave us a final glimpse into how their lives have gone since they left the ER.

Some friends were saying that they didn’t know that Clooney will be a guest in the show, there was not even a promotion from NBC. In my case, I was anxiously waiting ever since the rumors started that the original cast might do a cameo before the series finale.

As ER nears it finale, this one was a great way to send the show out!

The Results

... are in, and...

David Cook is the winner of American Idol Season 7! He is completely overwhelmed and in tears, but pulls it together. He's so awesome.

Cook fans, pop some champagne and enjoy the night!

End of the Road

This is it, the end of the road for American Idol Season 7. It's either going to be David Archuleta, the teenage boy wonder, or David Cook, the 25 year old bartender. Ryan Seacrest said that, last night, 97.5 million votes came in last night. That's the biggest vote total by 23 million. One David received 56% of the vote, the other 44%. That's really not all that close.

Whew! 100 votes are from me for the Big David!

Is it really over?

From Just Jared and all over the evening news:

“The writers’ strike is finally over. Party time!!!!!!! “It’s over,” former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner told CNBC. “[The major media companies and the Writers Guild of America] made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It’s going on Saturday to the writers in general.” The writers, however, could still reject the agreement, but the deal is definitely in motion.”

I want all of my fave shows to resume!!! Can't wait, bring them on!!!

High School Musical 2

Last night was a big day for the fans of High School Musical. The sing-along continued last night at 8pm on The Disney Channel and all the lead stars from the first TV Movie returned.

I was able to watch High School Musical 2 with Kristine amidst the hectic schedule for Kapatiran 2007. Chloe was really excited since I was able to watch HSM2.

After the premiere, I called Chloe (even with the time difference) and talked away regarding the TV movie.

‘Idol’ Face-off

Who should win American Idol 6 - Jordin Sparks or Blake Lewis?

Who will be crowned the new American Idol?

Viva, Las Vegas!

Wahoooooo! I am so happy.

This just in from the Peacock: "NBC has renewed its veteran drama series Las Vegas (Fridays, 9 pm/ET) for a fifth high-rolling season through 2007-08, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, president of NBC Entertainment.

'The cast and producers have consistently given us what we want from Las Vegas — pure entertainment — and we're looking forward to another fun ride next season with the show,' said Reilly."

I got to have my Josh Duhamel fix.

Obsessed Completely

I have accepted that The O.C. has ended (February 22, 2007). I will just remember it for the great show that it was. After watching the series finale, I did not really want The O.C. to do another season because it was perfect.

It was the best episode of the entire series; it gave us closure to all the characters. Summer and Seth's wedding was the greatest; I honestly did not expect it. Ryan and the kid were amazing.

The episode made me cry, honestly.

The last 10 minutes however, were incredible. The flashbacks to the pilot and season one was good and the way it ended with Ryan seeing the kid was just perfect. It was just great to see it come full circle.

Cheers to Ellen!

She was amazing! I do watch her show everyday, and the Oscar’s last night was just the best because it had Ellen Degeneres as the host.

Congratulations on her monologue, she is so funny and she looked so relaxed, very natural, even her outfits, and hair & make up looked great too. She even managed to work a dance in!

My sides hurt from laughing so much. I love to laugh. We all love to laugh. The world needs to laugh.

Ellen, you go girl!

Another Shared Moment

The kiss was cute and sweet, beyond expectations. I cannot stop smiling!

Thank you, Lolai!

I loved how they talked before hand. It was just awesome.

Goobye, Newport Beach

“The sun will set for the last time on THE O.C. when the series ends its four-season run this February 22, 2007.”

I was still in Hoola-land when I learned about the on-coming death of one of the TV series that I have loved to watch. You can even ask my brother that I shed tears upon hearing the news. Why? Because I so 'heart' Ryan Atwood and Seth Cohen.

Definitely, I will catch the emotional ending and the fondest of farewells of the Cohens, the Coopers and Ryan and Taylor in the momentous series finale of The O.C.

Takatatakatakatakatakatak

He is back with a new hit, and for sure, this will create a big following among the Dabarkads (what else but the Eat Bulaga fanatics). The song and the dance step (as if you are dribbling an invisible basketball) is now a hit. Nothing can really stop Joey De Leon!

Itaktak na!

Itaktak Mo
By Joey de Leon (Joey to the World 2)

Agalugtae (Woh!)

Ang magsayaw ay di biro
Liyad Liyad Yuko Yuko
At meron pa liko liko
Parang kumapit ang tuko

Kahit ilong mo ay pango
At boses mo ay kay baho
Sayaw mo man parang mumo
Patakbuhin mo ang dugo

Chorus:
Itaktak mo
Itaktak mo
Itak itak itaktak mo (4x)
Itakatatakatakatakatakatak
Itaktak Mo

Agalugtae (Woh!)

Para malimot ang lungkot
Pati masira ang tuktok
Nang di laging inaantok
Sayaw na kahit kangkarot

Kahit ka lang nakatapak
Roll lang nang roll rock lang nang rock
Kahit nga lamang na palakpak
Bayaan mong tumagktak

Repeat Chorus

Itaktak mo
Itaktak mo
Itak itak itaktak mo (4x)
Takatatakatakatakatakatak (Heh!)
Takatatakatakatakatakatak (Huh!)
Takatatakatakatakatakatak

Itaktak Mo (Taktaktak!)

With All Hope...

Michael loses hope...

... and we are wishing that instead of Sucre, we are sitting in that log waiting for Michael's pleas.
